About the Court

The LaPorte County Superior Court #3 handles civil claims and misdemeanor criminal cases.

The Honorable Paul J. Baldoni has presided of LaPorte Superior Court No.3 since its inception in 1976.

Civil actions can be filed with the Clerk of the court located on the third floor of the Government Complex from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

Proceedings

The Superior Court No. 3, Clerks Office may accept the following court filings Current prices effective July 1, 2005.

Small Claims – under $6000.00 the cost is $60.00 plus $10.00 service fee per defendant.
Civil Plenary – $130.00 plus $10.00 service fee per defendant after the 1st.
Civil Collections – $130.00 plus $10.00 service fee per defendant after the 1st defendant.
Mortgage Foreclosure – $130.00 plus $10.00 service fee per defendant after the 1st defendant.
Misdemeanor Criminals – $156.00 plus fine.
OWI Criminal – $356.50 plus fine.
